Catch 22 Bistro has comfort food. An interesting menu array such as old school liver and onions to saganaki as an appetizer (that I highly recommend if you haven't had it before). The staff here are always so welcoming and attentive. The setting is casual and relaxing with booth seating, tables and a nice bar area. I would definitely go back when visiting Algonac.
The food is delicious & the service is excellent . The restaurant is clean which is important to me.
My husband and I travel a good 40 minutes to have dinner here. Always great service and great food.
Love the staff! Food comes out quick, salads are always so fresh and on a cold plate . I love the k-bang shrimp, perch and prime rib and stir fry! Would like to see the menu updated and the crock of French onion still needs some work . But a solid choice for dining!
Even short handed they were of good service AND nice personalities! The food is good - we will be back! Plus Sanders next door doesn't hurt. LOL BUT NEED A FEW DAYS then go back for the crème puff! They have inside seating!
For the price, you can't beat this place. Best prime rib around, extremely reasonably priced. The shrimp Rockefeller is delicious. Calamari could be a bit better, cocktails could be better, and please turn down the damn lights. Place is lit up like a Denny's. That said, all-in-all, love their food, and happily return a few times a year.
I thought I had reviewed this in the past. Guess not. Based on the interior I would say the bar dates to the 1960's. Somewhat limited draft beer but a good bottled selection. I've eaten there several times, never had a bad meal. Does tend to be an older clientele (and by older I mean older than my 58 years). The bar is decorated with Criss Craft boat swag and parts. Before Criss Craft moved to Florida it made its boats in Algonac Michigan. I took no pictures as I thought I had reviewed this place before.
We had a great dinner here everyone loved their food. The service was very good and it's got like a nautical theme inside. I had the perch which was enormous I mean it was the biggest portion of perch I've ever seen. Most everyone else got perch too but my cousin got a hamburger which he really enjoyed. Wonderful place!
